People often ask me how, with everything on my plate — the legal-tech startup ContractOK, 20 years of legal practice (and all the stress that comes with it), modeling work, and family life — I still manage to look good.)))
Honestly? Not always. And I don’t always feel that way either.My real life is not just morning coffee and beautiful Instagram photos. It’s complicated contracts, responsibility for projects and people, long negotiations, and decisions that need to be made every single day. And on the other side — castings and photoshoots, where you are expected to look fresh and well-groomed at all times.
Our skin reflects our habits, especially the bad ones.) It shows when we haven’t slept enough or when we are stressed. Skin is the first thing to reveal stress, lack of sleep, and long hours in front of a screen. Modeling taught me something else too: it’s incredibly easy to damage your skin. Aggressive ingredients and improper skincare can quickly make the skin reactive and sensitive.
At 20, it feels like your skin will forgive anything — sleepless nights, stress, forgotten makeup before bed.
At 30, everyone becomes a master of concealment and buys endless concealers.
And after 40, you realize that even tons of makeup can no longer save the situation.)))
As I got older, I stopped trying to look younger. What became more important to me was waking up with a fresh face and feeling good. First, I started getting rid of unhealthy habits (even though I absolutely love chewy candies and red wine), and at the same time I began learning more deeply about skincare. I truly want to take care of myself for as long as possible without injections or surgical procedures — and so far, it’s working.)))
And then, very fortunately, everything came together. Honestly, my connection to bringing Canova dermocosmetics to Estonia happened quite by chance: as a lawyer, I helped with the documentation needed to bring this Italian brand to the Baltic countries. These skincare products are specifically designed to address the skin concerns of people living in Northern Europe, where harsh climates and constant winds often cause dryness and redness.
Without a doubt, safety has always been — and still is — my top priority when it comes to skincare products. That’s how Canova became the brand I could confidently use myself and trust with my children, husband, and parents.
Later, close friends and colleagues also discovered Canova and were able to solve many of their own skin concerns through proper skincare.
And it was exactly from this desire — to share something that genuinely works and that I truly trust — that our online store, Beauty Boutique, was born. A place where you can find reliable skincare for the whole family!
Of course, to my 20-year-old self, I probably sound a little boring now.) But today, skincare for the face and body means health and safety — for me and for my family.
