What Is Rosacea?
Rosacea is a chronic inflammatory skin condition in which the blood vessels become overly sensitive and the skin barrier becomes weakened.
Rosacea most commonly appears as:

- visible capillaries,
- reactions to cosmetics or external irritants,
- dryness and dehydration,
- inflammatory breakouts and skin eruptions.
With rosacea, the skin becomes especially sensitive to temperature changes, sun exposure, stress, active skincare ingredients, and many external factors.
Very often, people think it is “just sensitive skin” and begin using aggressive products, acids, or scrubs in an attempt to reduce inflammation. However, in most cases this only increases irritation and damages the skin barrier even further.
That is why with rosacea it is especially important to work gently: restoring the skin gradually, reducing sensitivity, and supporting its natural protective mechanisms.
