People often ask me how, with everything on my plate — the legal-tech startup ContractOK, 20 years of legal practice (and all the stress that comes with it), modeling work, and family life — I still manage to look good.)))
Honestly? Not always. And I don’t always feel that way either. My real life is not just morning coffee and beautiful Instagram photos. It’s complicated contracts, responsibility for projects and people, long negotiations, and decisions that need to be made every single day. And on the other side — castings and photoshoots, where you are expected to look fresh and well-groomed at all times.
Our skin reflects our habits, especially the bad ones.) It shows when we haven’t slept enough or when we are stressed. Skin is the first thing to reveal stress, lack of sleep, and long hours in front of a screen. Modeling taught me something else too: it’s incredibly easy to damage your skin. Aggressive ingredients and improper skincare can quickly make the skin reactive and sensitive.
At 20, it feels like your skin will forgive anything — sleepless nights, stress, forgotten makeup before bed.
At 30, everyone becomes a master of concealment and buys endless concealers.
And after 40, you realize that even tons of makeup can no longer save the situation.)))
As I got older, I stopped trying to look younger. What became more important to me was waking up with a fresh face and feeling good. First, I started getting rid of unhealthy habits (even though I absolutely love chewy candies and red wine), and at the same time I began learning more deeply about skincare. I truly want to take care of myself for as long as possible without injections or surgical procedures — and so far, it’s working.)))
And then, very fortunately, everything came together. Honestly, my connection to bringing Canova dermocosmetics to Estonia happened quite by chance: as a lawyer, I helped with the documentation needed to bring this Italian brand to the Baltic countries. These skincare products are specifically designed to address the skin concerns of people living in Northern Europe, where harsh climates and constant winds often cause dryness and redness.
Without a doubt, safety has always been — and still is — my top priority when it comes to skincare products. That’s how Canova became the brand I could confidently use myself and trust with my children, husband, and parents.
Later, close friends and colleagues also discovered Canova and were able to solve many of their own skin concerns through proper skincare.
And it was exactly from this desire — to share something that genuinely works and that I truly trust — that our online store, Beauty Boutique, was born. A place where you can find reliable skincare for the whole family!
Of course, to my 20-year-old self, I probably sound a little boring now.) But today, skincare for the face and body means health and safety — for me and for my family.
I am truly happy to receive kind and warm feedback from our clients — at Beauty Boutique, we genuinely do our best for you!
Wishing everyone health and harmony!

In Estonia, people often call me a celebrity trainer, but there is no room for glamour in the gym. During training, everyone works equally hard. Professional sports are about iron discipline, intense effort, and liters of sweat. And our skin and hair are the first to take the hit.
Behind impressive photos and trophies, there are often problems that men simply do not talk about.

Sweat, Dirt, and Irritation
When you push yourself to the limit, sweat pours down heavily. In the gym, it instantly mixes with dust and dirt. Add constant friction from caps or heavy headphones — and the scalp simply stops breathing.
This leads to clogged pores, constant itching, and irritation. And if you wash your hair afterward with a cheap “3-in-1” supermarket gel, the situation only gets worse. Harsh chemicals damage the skin’s protective barrier, leaving behind dryness and flaking.

Why Sports Can Lead to Hair Thinning
Very few people connect weight training with hair loss, but the connection is direct. Intense training puts significant physical stress on the entire body.
When the scalp is constantly sweaty and irritated, the hair follicles literally begin to suffocate. They no longer receive proper nourishment and gradually weaken. If this inflammation is not addressed in time, hair begins to fall out. And it’s not always about genetics — sometimes the problem is simply that the hair roots were never given the chance to recover properly.

Recovery: Grooming Without the Glamour
In sports, everyone knows that muscles grow during recovery. Skin works exactly the same way — it needs time to restore itself after heavy stress.
Men’s grooming does not have to be complicated. We do not need ten different products on the bathroom shelf — we need simple and effective solutions:

Wash away sweat properly: use a quality product that cleanses the skin without drying it out.

Eliminate irritation: use a professional shampoo that relieves itching and calms the scalp.

For me, self-care is not about glamour. It is basic hygiene and an essential part of recovery. Just as important as regular training, clean water, or quality sleep. If you demand the maximum from your body, you need to know how to restore it properly. It’s that simple.

I often serve as a judge at professional international hairdressing championships. There, we evaluate creativity, complex techniques, and impressive wow effects created with liters of hairspray and hot styling tools. It’s beautiful as an art form. But when I return to my beloved clients at Denis Kovalenko Salon in Tallinn, I always say the same thing: true beauty in real life is lightness, freshness, and absolute cleanliness.
When hair flows beautifully, shines, and stays fresh for a long time, it is not magic and, contrary to popular myths, not always just “good genetics.” It is the result of proper care. And it all begins where we cannot see it.

Why do we forget about the scalp?
We are so used to taking care of the length of our hair: we buy masks for the ends, apply oils for shine, and use heat protection products. But hair is like a plant — you cannot grow a beautiful flower without taking care of the soil.
The foundation of healthy hair is the scalp. Its condition determines whether the hair has volume at the roots, how quickly it becomes oily, and how comfortable you feel overall. Truly clean hair is not about washing it aggressively “until it squeaks.” It’s about balance — when the scalp can breathe and feels healthy and comfortable.

From Runways to Real Hair Health
Over the years of working as a top stylist — whether teaching other professionals, judging competitions, or working daily behind the chair at Denis Kovalenko Salon — I have developed one important rule for myself. True professionalism is not about creating a beautiful look for just one evening. My goal is to build a strong foundation for the health of your hair.
If the skin on our face becomes dry or irritated, we apply gentle, soothing skincare. The same principle applies to the scalp! It needs delicate care, not harsh cleansing.
As soon as we find the right shampoo that calms and restores balance, a real transformation happens. The need to wash your hair every day disappears, discomfort fades away, and the hair at the roots becomes incredibly light and voluminous.
My main goal in the salon is not simply to give you a stylish haircut or perfect color. I want you to enjoy your hair every single day. I want the feeling of flawless cleanliness, freshness, and comfort to stay with you from one wash to the next.
Love your hair, take care of your scalp — and your hair will absolutely reward you in return!

My name is Irina, and I am a cosmetologist with a medical background. I have worked in medicine for many years, and that is why in my work I always focus not only on aesthetics, but first and foremost on skin health, skin physiology, and a safe, thoughtful approach.
For me, cosmetology is not about aggressive treatments or endless procedures.
It is about understanding the skin, recognising its needs, and providing грамотная support in a careful and professional way.
Very often, people come to me after living for years with sensitive skin, redness, inflammation, or constant discomfort.
Many have already tried different products, active skincare, or advice from the internet, but instead of improvement, they end up with even more sensitivity and irritation.
And this is not surprising.
Skin is a complex system, and its condition depends on much more than cosmetics alone. Stress, chronic inflammation, a damaged skin barrier, dehydration, hormonal balance, nutrition, and even lifestyle all affect the skin.
That is why in my work I always look deeper and try to understand not only the visible symptoms, but also the underlying causes of the skin condition.
I especially value a calm, physiological, and gentle approach to skin restoration without overloading or aggressive impact.

What Is Rosacea?
Rosacea is a chronic inflammatory skin condition in which the blood vessels become overly sensitive and the skin barrier becomes weakened.
Rosacea most commonly appears as:

skin redness,

sensations of heat and sensitivity,

visible capillaries,

reactions to cosmetics or external irritants,

dryness and dehydration,

inflammatory breakouts and skin eruptions.

With rosacea, the skin becomes especially sensitive to temperature changes, sun exposure, stress, active skincare ingredients, and many external factors.
Very often, people think it is “just sensitive skin” and begin using aggressive products, acids, or scrubs in an attempt to reduce inflammation. However, in most cases this only increases irritation and damages the skin barrier even further.
That is why with rosacea it is especially important to work gently: restoring the skin gradually, reducing sensitivity, and supporting its natural protective mechanisms.

The Skin Concerns I Most Often Work With
In my practice, I most often help clients with:

rosacea,

acne and post-acne,

increased skin sensitivity,

dehydration,

inflammation and redness,

a damaged skin barrier,

dull complexion,

age-related skin changes,

personalised home skincare routines.

I sincerely believe that good and long-lasting results do not begin with a large number of procedures, but with a proper understanding of the skin condition and a well-structured skincare routine.

Why the CANOVA Philosophy Resonates With Me
In my work, I especially appreciate skincare that combines effectiveness, safety, and respect for the skin’s natural physiology.
That is why I feel closely aligned with the philosophy of CANOVA:

gentle skin restoration,

support of the skin barrier,

suitability even for sensitive skin conditions,

comfortable textures and excellent tolerance,

effectiveness without aggressive impact.

My Approach
For me, it is important that the skin does not simply look better temporarily, but truly becomes healthier, calmer, and more resilient.
I will always support a natural and gentle approach to skincare.
My role as a specialist is to help people understand their skin, choose suitable skincare, and create conditions in which the skin can recover comfortably and safely.
Without rushing.
Without overloading the skin.
Without aggressive treatments.
Because good cosmetology is, above all, about professionalism, trust, knowledge, and genuine care for skin health.

With love for natural beauty and healthy skin,
Irina
